What clients ask before they send us drawings
Do you build from our architect's drawings?
Yes. Stein & Sol Canarias is an execution contractor: you supply the approved drawings and specifications, and we build them. We do not sell design services and we do not redesign a scheme you have already paid an architect to produce.
Which areas do you cover?
Stein & Sol Canarias is based in Tenerife and works across the Canary Islands. The company also carries out residential work in Romania, where one of the two partners is based.
What kinds of project do you take on?
New construction, renovation and structural refits, hotel refurbishment, warehouses and industrial buildings, and office and commercial fit-outs. Clients are typically developers, architects, hotel operators and commercial landlords, alongside private clients building villas.
Do you handle design, licensing or planning permission?
No. We build to drawings that are already approved. Design, licensing and permits stay with your architect and technical team — which is exactly what keeps our estimates and our schedules straightforward.
What languages can we work in?
Spanish, English, German and Romanian. Correspondence, estimates and site meetings can all be handled in any of the four.
How do we get an estimate?

How much construction experience is behind the company?
The two partners have more than 45 years of combined experience in construction. One of them, Simon Maurer, is the founder of Maurer Imobiliare, a Romanian property developer with several completed residential developments.
